Since 1999, Jean Dakovitz has been developing and coaching children’s sports programs in her community, and volunteering at Alton Public School. As a fundraising initiative in support of the cardiac unit at SickKids, she built a haunted house in her backyard and invited trick-or-treaters for tours on Halloween night.
