William Simon is passionate about creating a positive school culture and has been involved in many fundraising activities to raise funds for different cancer initiatives such as the Terry Fox Run, cutting his hair off, and organizing a pie-throwing competition. He is also committed to educating his peers about autism; during awareness month he goes to each class in his school to talk to students and answer questions in order to reach a better understanding of the condition and to end prejudice and stigma.
