Shaniece Maurice has been fighting against bullying since an incident that happened to her when she was eight years old. She has shared her story with young audiences at her school, has cared for bullying victims. She is organizing a STAND UP to Bullying Pink Shirt Day at Jans Bay School, a rural Saskatchewan school, once again to raise funds and awareness to prevent bullying and to create workshops so audiences can understand the impact of bullying.
