Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

For over 20 years, Paul Greer has actively supported the community of Carleton Heights and has participated in numerous community events, including the Winter Carnival and the annual neighbourhood barbeque. He has assisted with a community project to renovate a recreation centre, and continues to prepare and maintain the outdoor skating rink during winter months. A dedicated member of his parish and a Cub and Scout leader for over 20 years, he has participated in many Scouting fundraisers and events, such as Apple Days and tree plantings, while being a positive and influential mentor to many young people.
