Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Colette Deault has served her community as a devoted volunteer for many years. In 1985, she established a municipal library, where she has worked tirelessly. She has also visited patients at the Rouyn-Noranda Hospital and has been involved with the cerebral palsy telethon for about ten years. In addition, Mrs. Deault has overseen services for her parish, and has undertaken various community service work such as collecting food supplies for those less fortunate in her area.
