Emily Munro began as a volunteer founding member of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home Auxiliary in 1977. She has held all positions in the Auxiliary over the years and is presently the Secretary. She has volunteered in the Activity Department to assist with its weekly programmes. It is said that no paid employee could be more faithful in her duty. She spends Tuesday mornings helping to make soup for the Saint John Soup Kitchen as well as for other church functions. She has been a tireless volunteer, brightening the lives of the residents of her community week after week, year after year.
