Nineteen-year-old Andrew Trevors has set an example for family caregiving. From the age of twelve until his grandfather's death last year, he regularly took care of household chores for his elderly grandparents -- mowing their grass, shovelling snow, preparing meals, doing laundry, washing floors, making minor repairs about the house, helping them pay their bills and taking them to appointments. He also showed great compassion for his ailing grandfather, helping him with his personal care and medications, administering insulin injections and acting as an advocate on his behalf.
