Marguerite Payette has been organizing, convening and working at a food bank serving the poor and destitute of Lachine, Quebec several days a week for the past twenty-eight years. A quiet person who always has a smile, her gentle and happy approach gives comfort and satisfaction to one and all. She supervises the donation of food baskets each year and has been active in community groups.
