Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For the past 60 years, Rolande Patry, a mother of 11 from Bouchette, Quebec, has worked throughout her community to develop and deliver charitable services. Among her many volunteer activities, Ms. Patry has made a long-standing commitment to the Association féminine en éducation et action sociale, has been a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Maniwaki Circle, since 1979, and was the president and supervisor of the Centre d'habitation des aînés de Bouchette. Ms. Patry is devoted to each of the many roles she takes on, for which she is held in very high regard.
