Joan Lylian Kouri, of Montréal, Quebec, has given her boundless energy to the benefit of numerous organizations that promote the advancement of youth, women and health. Her endless contributions have been an asset to the women's auxiliary of her church, to the Cedars Home for the Aged, to the Cedars Cancer Institute and to the West Island Health and Social Services Centre. She has also served as a member of the Quebec Association for Children with Learning Disabilities, and as director for Alternatelle, a West Island shelter for women. Mrs. Kouri consistently demonstrates a caring commitment to those she serves.
