Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

For many years, Edwin Findlater has been an active force within the community of Okanagan Falls, British Columbia. During his nearly 25 years as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Mr. Findlater has filled numerous executive positions, including Poppy Chair, and chairman of the BC/Yukon Command Executive Council. He has also volunteered extensively with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and several health-based charitable organizations. The far-reaching fellowship of Mr. Findlater makes him an active force for change in the community.
