Jean Dansereau joined L'Arche Canada over 40 years ago and, ever since then, he has been working with people with intellectual disabilities who want to share community living. As the president of the Association des Arches du Québec and then as president of L'Arche Canada, he modernized the organization's structures in harmony with the mission of L'Arche, which is to give people living with or without an intellectual disability the opportunity to live in the community. Today, he continues to volunteer in the L'Arche Agapè community in Gatineau.
