Francine Grondines has been volunteering for the Valcartier Family Centre since 2011, where she reaches out to families experiencing the absence of a loved one, to help them cope and to assure them they are not alone during difficult times, through the centre's telephone support line. She oversees a bilingual committee working to build ties between Anglophone and Francophone volunteers to get involved in community activities.
