Susan McLure has volunteered on the floor and around the board table of the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank for fifteen years. She is credited with helping the organization articulate a long term vision for coping with food insecurity in Calgary and with increasing the efficiency of its services. Also a volunteer companion for a woman living with dementia, her friends say that what sets her apart is that she always approaches her projects "from a place of love".
