Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Since 1970, Ian Van Norman has been helping people of various developing countries. In the past fourteen years, he has focussed efforts on Haiti, serving at a hospital at Dessalines. Thanks to his fund-raising and volunteer efforts, the hospital has increased to many times its original size. He has also been active in his church and in various service clubs.
