Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Known for his spirit, dedication and concern for the mentally challenged, William Mills has, since the 1970s, been a volunteer with the Canadian Special Olympics. He has also been involved in community organizations such as the Boy Scouts, and individual sports for persons with disabilities becoming an important figure in this recreational outlet.
