Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
After retiring in 1986, Edwin McAnany got involved as a volunteer with the local St. Vincent de Paul Society. He is also a mainstay with the Guelph Drop-In Centre, helping people and taking an active part in establishing a workshop in the Centre. It is well-known within the community that whenever there is a need, he is there with a helping hand.
