Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

Ted Gorth demonstrates his love of his community every day through his extensive volunteer work. He has been involved with the local unit of the Canadian Cancer Society for more than twenty-five years, and has long been an invaluable aid to the United Way of Halton Hills, both as a fund-raiser and as an inspiration and support to other volunteers. Mr. Gorth has also devoted a great deal of time and energy to his church, to the local Chamber of Commerce, and to various civic committees.
