Sarah McAlpine brings energy and enthusiasm to each of her volunteer commitments. Every year since 1974, she has written, produced and helped direct a musical production for students at Queen Elizabeth Elementary School. For 20 years she has been one of the hardest working volunteers of the Canadian Indian Village Association and is devoted to achieving its objective of co-sponsoring innovative village projects to foster economic self-reliance in India. She has also assisted the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre as a member of the board of directors, a teacher and a guide. Mrs. McAlpine is a selfless and motivated volunteer whose sense of humour and organizational skills contribute to the success of her undertakings.
