Since 1987, Heather Salloum has volunteered on numerous local, provincial and national boards and committees to improve the lives of her fellow citizens. She is a steadfast supporter of the Prairieaction Foundation, which promotes community-based research into the causes of and solutions to violence. She is also an executive board member of the Autism Resource Centre.
