    Reverend Jean-Marie Brochu, Saint-Lambert-de-Lévis, Que. Governor General's Caring Canadian Award Reverend Jean-Marie Brochu, or "Mr. Happiness" as he is known on his daily radio program, is the author of "Christmas Happiness," which for over thirty years has given moral support to more than 8,000 chronically ill people in about 120 institutions in the greater Quebec-Chaudière-Appalaches region. Over the years, Reverend Brochu has also served on the boards of directors of the Laval Alumni, the Red Cross and the Anti-Tuberculosis League. He is currently on the board of directors of the Laval University Chair of Geriatrics and is President of the Victorin Germain Foundation.
