LISE MARCHAND

Lise Marchand has devoted herself to various causes over the last 40 years, particularly those involving children and families. She acted as UNICEF's spokesperson for nine years and supported a children's organization in one of Montréal's disadvantaged neighbourhoods. She has also been involved in several community development projects in Latin America, including her current work with the Regroupement des missionaires laïque. A modest woman, Ms. Marchand's actions speak of her great compassion.
