Over the past three decades, Elwood Gotell has been helping mariners stay connected to life on land through his dedication to The Mission to Seafarers. Active at numerous levels within the organization, he has served on the board of directors, operated the canteen and solicited donations and sponsorships, in addition to meeting with mariners stopping in Halifax.
