Since 1997, Frederick McMurrer has been supporting local military members as the secretary, treasurer and president of the Canadian Forces Area Support Unit in Chilliwack. Over the past 10 years, he has also helped victims of crime as a volunteer case worker with Chilliwack Crime Prevention Services.
