An enthusiastic champion of Guiding, Pat McBeth has been involved in Girl Guides of Canada at all levels since 1987, raising its visibility and setting up international connections between units in Winnipeg and Ireland during a two-year move abroad. Since 2008, she has been volunteering full-time every November and December with the Christmas Cheer Board, which provides food hampers and gifts to those in need.
