Since receiving a heart transplant in 2000, Gaston Martin has committed himself to the promoting organ donation. Through his volunteer work with Transplant Québec and Héma-Québec, he speaks at conferences and seminars about the importance of blood and organ donation, and organizes and supports fundraisers for the cause.
