Jacques Payette has spent years volunteering with youth, first as a softball coach and hockey referee trainer and currently at the Maison des jeunes, a youth centre in Châteauguay. He also participates in parades and Remembrance Day events with the RCMP Quebec Division of the Pipes and Drums Community Group.
