Lennard Thorne has served with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 34 for more than four decades, notably as first vice-president and chairman of the house. He created a wall of honour at the branch to pay tribute to those who served in Canada’s military, and he visits with and advocates for veterans in hospitals and nursing homes across southern Ontario.
