Skylar Ferguson builds bridges between her city and northern communities by organizing the Christmas for Churchill campaign to distribute food and toys over the holidays. She recently created Sport the North, an initiative that outfits athletes of all ages with donated new and gently used sports equipment as a way of promoting positive physical and mental health in the Churchill and Kivalliq communities.
