For 28 years, Nancy Oakes has been devoted to advancing the state of cancer care, treatment and prevention in Ottawa, and has raised funds for cancer-related charities in memory of her parents. In 2013, she joined The Ottawa Hospital’s President’s Breakfast volunteer team and raised $1.4 million during her two years as co-chair of the event.
