For more than 50 years, Pierre Roberge has helped preserve religious culture in his community and develop the local economy in the face of the declining mining industry. He has contributed his time to the local chamber of commerce, the economic society of the region, the local hospital foundation, La Vigne food bank, the local cancer support group, and the Centre d’interprétation du patrimoine religieux de la MRC des Appalaches.
