For 17 years, Frank Moore ensured veterans of the First and Second World Wars were recognized at the local and international levels. He initiated a project that led to the names of servicemen killed in battle placed on a local cenotaph, and oversaw a special commemoration of fallen aircrew that were shot down over the Netherlands in 1943.
