Margaret Fountain has had a transformative impact on Nova Scotia’s cultural milieu. As a patron of the arts, she has supported initiatives that provide Maritimers with improved access to world-class performances in dance, music and theatre. Symphony Nova Scotia, Halifax Dance, the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University and the National Ballet of Canada have all benefited from her personal support and involvement. Her philanthropy has also touched the broader community through the Halifax Foundation and the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia.
