Robert Runciman served in political office at municipal, provincial and federal levels for 45 years. A Brockville city councillor and Member of Provincial Parliament for 29 years, he also represented Ontario in the Senate. An author, environmentalist, union leader and community volunteer, he currently chairs the St. Lawrence Parks Commission.
