A master lampoonist, for three decades he has been poking fun at mainstream society with political satires that have become comedy classics. He honed his skills at the CBC, before moving to NBC, where he became executive producer of Saturday Night Live, now the longest-running late-night comedy show in television history. He has since branched out into film, adding Three Amigos and Wayne's World to his long list of credits. A generous mentor, he has consistently showcased Canadian talent and, through his foundation, sponsors a number of organizations including his alma mater, the University of Toronto.
