A leader in the field of road transport and a former mayor of Saint-Félicien, he is actively involved in the economic and social development of his region. During his seventeen years as mayor, he promoted a number of profitable initiatives, including the establishment of a major pulp and paper plant. He also founded the Saint-Félicien zoo and has been of great service as a member of business, educational and charitable organizations.
