Head of the vascular medicine section of Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal, he also directs a group of researchers at the Clinical Research Institute of Montreal. He has written many articles for scientific publications throughout the world. In addition to his responsibilities as a researcher and physician, he is an excellent teacher and a sought-after speaker. He regularly takes part in international symposia on, among other topics, the development and treatment of arteriosclerosis. His engaging personality, broad cultural interests and humanity make him a credit to Canadian medicine.
