Peter Crossgrove has devoted much of his life to the improvement and advancement of our health care system. In addition to his professional obligations as chairman and a founder of Masonite International, he has raised millions of dollars in support of health care. His negotiation and organizational skills helped to ensure the successful merger of several hospitals to create the University Health Network and the Toronto Hospital, Canada's largest acute-care facility. Chairman of the Board of Cancer Care Ontario, and past chair of CARE Canada, he is also working to relieve poverty in developing countries as the long-time treasurer of CARE International.
