A successful entrepreneur and astute businesswoman, she was Vice-President of a large Canadian publishing company and founder and long-time publisher of Flare magazine. She has since risen to the challenge of key positions in arts administration, including that of Chair of the Canada Council for the Arts. Currently Executive Director of the Ontario Arts Council, she remains involved in her community as Board Member of several educational and non-profit organizations.
