From his beginnings as a saxophonist and arranger with dance bands in the 1950s, he has become one of Canada's pre- eminent musicians. He has written and conducted orchestral arrangements for special events such as the Calgary Olympic Gala and the opening ceremonies for Toronto's Skydome. Well respected in the industry, he has also done arrangements for recordings by many of Canada's best-known musicians. His compositions have been featured on radio and television across North America and he has been in demand as a saxophonist both at home and abroad. With his creative abilities and versatility, he has left a lasting mark on our nation's musical landscape.
