A former notary, he returned to his passion: entomology. He travelled the world and collected nearly 500,000 insects, donating his collection to the City of Montreal and founding the Insectarium. That was just the beginning. He has designed other insectariums throughout the world and authored television programs broadcast in over 150 countries. Through his talents as a popularizer and communicator, he has led what amounts to a revolution in the field of entomology, making it accessible to the general public.
