Buddy's story is an incredible one. As a child, he found his father's fiddle in a trunk and began to play. That was 1935. Today he is an internationally renowned master violinist and an icon of Cape Breton's musical tradition. His trademark renditions of Scottish jigs and marches, reels and strathspeys have toes tapping in spontaneous delight around the world. As an ambassador of Canadian music and a mentor to many, he is leading a Gaelic renaissance in Canada and abroad.
