Roderick Robinson has been a spiritual, community and political leader for the Nisga'a Nation. A founding member and former executive director of the Nisga'a Tribal Council, he demonstrated immense perseverance and determination during the negotiations that culminated in the historic Nisga'a Treaty. In doing so, he has helped ensure that future generations will be able to administer the land that is intrinsically tied to their identity. A role model whose counsel is highly valued, he later served as chair of the Council of Elders and as the first ambassador of the Nisga'a Lisims Government.
