She is a talented businesswoman and a strong community leader who serves as a powerful role model for women. Under her direction, a small family business has grown from a local company to an internationally renowned enterprise. The first woman to be elected Chair of the Vancouver Board of Trade, she has also participated on the International Trade Advisory Committee. In addition, she has devoted her time and resources to community organizations such as the British Columbia Paraplegic Association, the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation and the Fraser River Discovery Centre.
