Throughout his career he has made outstanding contributions to the development of mental health services in Canada. As the General Director of the Canadian Mental Health Association, he was known for his advocacy for improved linkages between health professionals and volunteers and community-based programs for patients and families. His life-long commitment and sensitivity have been an inspiration to volunteers, staff and clients.
