Through her lectures at the Université de Moncton and her numerous writings, she has unravelled the past and enriched the history of the Acadian people. In particular, she was responsible for the restoration of the Lefebvre monument, an historical site in the Saint-Joseph region. She has played a key role not only in preserving Acadian heritage but also in promoting the status of women.
