As an elected official, a businesswoman, a volunteer and the first woman Commissioner of the Yukon, she has served the people of the Territory all her life. She continues to work tirelessly to preserve and promote the heritage, values, traditions and environment of the North, as well as its colourful history, and to encourage its citizens to do the same.
