In 1963, Jean Paré launched a catering business and in 1981, published her first cookbook in the Company's Coming series. Today, over 21 million cookbooks have been sold worldwide with annual sales exceeding $18 million. Combining her natural talent with sound business sense, she built an empire that now includes several spin-off ventures. Her generosity of spirit extends to the broader community where her financial support of a number of organizations is as impressive as her culinary skills and is an equally important ingredient in her personal recipe for success.
