A distinguished practitioner, much sought-after speaker and former Professor and Dean of Medicine at Laval University, this nationally renowned cardiologist helped establish the Quebec Cardiology Institute. He has contributed to the progress of clinical research, in particular through his work on cardiomyopathies induced by toxic agents, and has thus had a major influence on the training of a generation of doctors.
