In the thirties he founded Éditions Fides, which, under his guidance, has become one of Quebec's major publishing houses. He has made a remarkable contribution to the organization of libraries and training of librarians. In addition, he was the director of the Bible centre of the Montreal diocese and is dedicated to pastoral teaching.
